This show would not exist without the work of the following people, labels, and distributers. I’ve lately become enamored of the idea of voting with your hard-earned money: if you don’t like spending money on today’s music (especially since a good deal of it goes to mega-corps and the RIAA), give it to these people who are finding and putting in print classic and obscure tracks from the recent past. It’s criminal that in the 21st century you can’t purchase a new copy of a 20-30 year old song (let alone purchase one and have your money go back to the artist).

And then there are countless other blogs and writers who have clued me in to this music. Some days, when my computer isn’t working right, or someone in the US governement has me wishing for the days of Reagan and Thatcher, I wish I were born 10 years earlier and a few thousand miles to the East. But then I find another cool track on the Internets and I feel much better.
